All-Conference / All-Star Team Explanation

Within Heartland, the highest recognition of individual athletic accomplishment is referred to as all-conference recognition. For this honor, student-athletes are chosen as the top athletes by the opposing coaches. Coaches submit votes for top athletes across the league but are not allowed to vote for players from their team.

All-Star recognition where each coach picks players from his or her team based on the their performance, attitude and attendance. These players then play in an exhibition game that showcases the best talent from each division. This game honors the history of lacrosse by putting aside team and club competitions and allowing players to just play for the joy of it.
